The newborn stage is a magical time, with their adorable expressions and tiny wiggly body's.  Newborns move into the baby stage so quickly, and that is the reason why newborn photography has become so popular.  The images will be a lasting memory of your baby's first few weeks from birth, irreplaceable!

'Highly recommend Zoe for the newborn photoshoot! The whole experience was fab and the photographs are amazing! The session was calm and relaxing- Zoe was great with my little boy and took great care of him for the several hours I was there. Will definitely be returning for future shoots.'    April Derrick

Their tiny features are to be remembered as they change so quickly.  Newborn sessions are a wonderful experience offering you a beautiful way to hold on to those precious few weeks.

Sessions are completely baby-led, ensuring the comfort of your baby at all times.

I do get booked up 2 to 3 months in advanced so it is advisable to book as soon as you can. Many expectant parents book a session after their 20-week scan to guarantee my availability for when their baby arrives.

Within my baby-led newborn sessions, I offer posed and more relaxed images. These sessions include family and sibling shots, that will highlight your beautiful family's connection, and the love you all share.

There are 3 collections to choose from. The session includes the following:-

3-4 hour professional photography service at my studio

Different set-ups and poses to create a beautiful gallery, full of variety

Use of beautiful blankets, props and accessories

20 professionally edited images to choose from

Family and sibling shots

HD slideshow

Face to face gallery reveal and product advice if required

Password protected online gallery to share with family and friends, after your viewing session

Full Newborn Photography – Session Information

At the time of booking a newborn photo shoot, we pencil in a date for your session based around your due date. This means that my time has been allocated to you. The actual session date is set once your baby has been born, ideally aiming for baby to be between 5-21 days old, when they are most sleepy and curled up. Should you hear about my newborn sessions after your baby has arrived, I will always do my best to book you in. I will photograph babies up to 6 weeks old.

My newborn photography sessions are completely baby-led.  You can never predict how a session will go, and I like that!  I adapt each session to the needs of the baby and involve you throughout the session, nobody knows your baby better than you! My studio is heated, so it is nice and warm and offers a very calm and relaxed environment. From when you arrive, you can hand your baby over to me.

The session usually lasts 3-4 hours nothing is rushed and time is taken for feeds, cuddles and soothing (due to covid sessions are slightly shortened – READ HERE the covid safety measure that has been put in place). My main priority is to ensure that you and your baby feel happy and relaxed and you have a wonderful experience.

Before your session, a call will be arranged to discuss the photoshoot in more detail.  All the information discussed on the call will be emailed to you, including the session guide. This guide contains lots of handy little hints and tips to make sure you get the most from your session, and you arrive ready to relax and watch your baby’s first photoshoot.
