Newborn Baby Beatrice – Gloucester Photographer.
Being a Gloucester photographer I get to meet so many lovely people from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Cirencester and from further a field. There is nothing more rewarding then a customer returning and asking to book another photo shoot with you!
Back in April 2016 I photographed Chloe and Olly’s gorgeous wedding. Early 2017 I was over the moon to hear they were expecting their first child. They welcomed Beatrice into the world in July 2017.
My studio is warm and cosy, with a calm atmosphere. An environment where Mum and Dad can relax and watch the newborn session of their baby. I change nappies and if a baby is bottle fed I will do that too (if Mum is happy for me to) this way it becomes a bit of a timeout for the parents, after a whirlwind changing event.
The Potato Sack with Dad assisting
I love the potato sack pose, especially styled with one of my adorable bear bonnets. A pose where safety needs to be thought out. Although you can’t see, due to my knowledge of Photoshop and my editing skills, Beatrice’s Dad has his finger on his baby daughter’s head. This ensured that Beatrice was safe and secure throughout this pose. SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!
Beatrice was completely relaxed and chilled. The transition through the poses were seamless.
Her feet will never be this small again!
It is hard to believe that in a year or so these little feet will be walking.
Beatrice just slept, the kind of sleep I wish I could have lol. I absolutely love this image. Just look at those lips!
The session went so smoothly. After posing on the beanbag, I asked Mum to feed Beatrice. Although I don’t think she was all that fussed and sleeping was still on her agenda.
I ask parents before their session which props they would like me to use. I don’t take too many photographs of a baby in a prop. My style is more about the baby and the focus remains on the baby. However it is nice to add variety to the gallery and they look so adorable.
